Creating your Character[]

Begin your adventure by choosing from one of 7 classes - you can see an overview of their skills and abilities before you make your choice. Once you've chosen, you can customize your character's appearance, and choose a name to display to others in game, as well as the leaderboards.

If you find you'd like to try them all, don't worry! There are multiple character slots available to all players, and you can create a new character at any time.

Each class has 2 unique abilities and 5 Passives that grant additional bonuses, and are unlocked by leveling your character and acquiring powerful gear to meet stat requirement thresholds. Obtaining them all may not be possible, so choose your gear wisely!

Base Camp[]

Base Camp

View of the Base Camp menu screen

The Base Camp is the home base of Dungeonborne. Here you can view your wealth, Events, Quests and Challenges, Your stash, Merchants, Leaderboards, and the Marketplace and Trade hubs. Explore the various tabs to familiarize yourself with the tools at your disposal, and get to know the eccentric vendors that will assist you in your adventures. From this home screen you can also select your adventurer - Solos, Trios, Training, and Arenas and Custom Room Arenas.

The Blacksmith allows you to craft heirloom items and dismantle any useless equipment. You can customize the preferred affixes on your heirloom gear, but more affix slots will require additional crafting materials.

The Alchemist infuses magic and science to craft powerful concoctions that aid you in battle. Along your adventures you will find many curious and materials that can be altered and crafted into health potions and bandages, elixirs to empower you, and flasks that unleash powerful magical effects that can turn the tide of battle.. for a price.

Events

The in-game Events Calendar

The Merchant is a black market fence that can turn your goods into gold - anything you bring out of the dungeon can be sold, and she will also have a selection of wares for you to purchase. The Merchant may sometimes offer discounts on select items, so make sure you check back regularly. Rumors say she may even have some rare artifacts that can grant you entry to even more dangerous dungeons..

The Trade Hall will allow you to buy and sell gear from your fellow adventurers in a controlled market. Dungeonborne's gear system means some items may be worth more than others, but listing items through the mysterious tradesmen that run the market causes them to be re-rolled upon purchase, giving all items a second chance at being rolled well. Should you find an item that you feel is already quite powerful, you may also auction the item, allowing other players to bid on it without altering its stats.

Events are always taking place within Dungeonborne, offering players unique challenges and goals to achieve with valuable rewards to assist in their journey. Keep an eye on this tab to track your progress, view the calendars, and to claim your gifts!

The Stash[]

Stash

View of the in-game stash, shared across all characters on the account.

All players have access to a shared Stash that any character on their account can access. Players will start with a single stash tab, but can spend gold earned in game to expand their storage with up to 4 additional tabs. Storage is a commodity, be sure to use it wisely! From this page, players can also view their current character's loadout and stats, as well as their passive thresholds.

The Game[]

From the "Adventure" tab, you can select 3 different game modes, as well as a training room, and a custom lobby system for you and 5 other players to participate in sportsmanlike combat. Here, we will only be covering content from the base game of Sinners end ("trios") and Clouseau castle ("solos"). If you wish to learn more about the Arena, you can navigate here.

Once you have your preferred game mode selected, and have ensured you prepared your gear accordingly, you will start the game. In both Clouseau castle and Sinners end, you will encounter fearsome monsters and perilous traps. Your goal is simple: to open chests, fight monsters, collect loot and survive long enough to find a portal to escape. You can find treasure inside chests that are scattered throughout the map, as well as shrines to bolster your defenses. you will also encounter minibosses and bosses such as: Reapers, Werewolves, Khazras and Headsman. On Clouseau castle, you can even find the Cyclops boss, who will test your might for a chance to earn some higher quality loot. However, on the Sinners End map, you can even take this a step further, putting your gear on the line for the chance at better loot by taking a corrupted portal to the second layer. Beware, as this level is home to the Wendigo boss, as well as tougher monsters, exit portals are limited here and so is your time. Uou'll have to race against the clock to collect loot, and escape with your life.

During your travels, you'll also encounter other players, who are trying to do the same thing you are.. but there isn't enough loot to go around. To ensure your party escapes safely - and lines their pockets - you'll have to vanquish them and take their loot as your own. If you die, all items you are carrying will be lost, but if you manage to escape, you can sell your hard earned treasures to the Merchant with no questions asked. After the loot is sold, you can purchase more powerful gear, become stronger and venture back out into the dungeons, this time with better weapons and armor to take down any who stand in your way.

Thats it! Now you have all the knowledge you need to excel in the dungeons. Nemember to check back here in case you have any questions. If you still cant find what you're looking for, please find our Discord page where you can ask the community.
