Plate-wearing Juggernaut[]
The Fighter class specializes in close range combat - with the ability to wield nearly every weapon in the game and access to plate armor, they are your go to front line initiator. Dealing primarily physical damage and boasting high resistances, they are capable brawlers with dangerous AOE damage and solid mobility. Due to their wide variety of available weapons, Fighters can engage combat on their own terms, choosing the tool that suits them best. With enough Will investment, Fighters can also obtain the Restraint passive, which disables incoming and outgoing friendly fire, making them excel in cramped fights.
Skills[]
Whirlwind - Instant, 40s CD: The Fighter enters 3rd person perspective and begins to spin (2h Sword only), dealing damage with every rotation to all enemies caught in the blade's reach, and ends with a mighty overhead slash. This skill cannot be interrupted once started, and there is a long recovery period after the final swing, so be sure to use this wisely! Whirlwind is an extremely high damaging skill that can easily overwhelm unprepared opponents, but it can be blocked and parried, although the latter is more dangerous and incurs far more damage if mistakes are made. Charging headfirst into a team and using Whirlwind can be a good way to apply pressure to allow your team to follow up - but its long cooldown and high committment must be considered.
Rush - Instant, 30s CD: A short range dash 5 METRE - once you press the skill button, you will be propelled forward at a high speed with a short recovery at the end of the dash. You cannot change directions once the dash begins, so aim carefully!
Passives[]
Fighter Strength Passives
Proficiency: At 50 Strength, Whirlwind's spin increases the fighter's movement speed by a moderate amount for the duration.
Fired Up: At 87 Strength, Rush cooldown will be reset after the fighter kills an enemy player.
Fighter Dexterity Passive
Vengeful Riposte: At 33 Dexterity, fighters' next attack will always be a critical strike after successfully parrying or blocking an attack.
Fighter's Stamina Passive
Weapon Mastery: At 42 Stamina, Whirlwind gain a shield when activate.
Fighter's Will Passive
Restraint: At 27 Will, Fighters no longer deal or receive damage from their allies. Attacks will still cause visual disruptions, so don't get too careless!
Weapons & Armor[]
Fighters are capable of using all weapons in the game except for staves and orbs.
Fighters use plate armor.
It is recommended to attain 27 Will to protect your team from any Whirlwind damage, and to protect yourself from your backline mage's casting.
