Marching Death[]

A terrifying warrior that strikes fear into enemies at close range combat, capable of draining the very life from their foes, delivering sustained damage to those nearby. The signature ability of the Death Knight is Grasp of the Grave, able to pull enemies into melee range, but also able to aid allies by pulling them out of harm's way. Death Knights are high damage Plate wearing dreadnaughts but have no mobility - a missed Grasp can spell doom for a Death Knight when faced with a skilled Mage.

As undead, Death Knights do not have mana and instead rely on absorbing soul essence from fallen enemies to regenerate their power. They also cannot be healed by holy magic and must rely on potions and bandages, or health shrines to recover their HP pools. They cannot be revived by the Divine Guidance passive Resurrection.


Skills[]

Soul Shroud - Instant, XXs CD: Summon evil spirits to surround yourself. When the skill is activated, all enemy units near you are slowed for 1 second, continuously dealing Shadow damage to surrounding enemies. This damage is further influenced by your Strength, Intelligence, and Will attributes.

Soulstorm - Instant, XXs CD: Unleashes Soul Energy, continuously dealing passive shadow damage to nearby enemies. While active it continuously consumes Soul Energy and can be stopped at any time. - This is an alternative ability to Soul Shroud


Grasp of the Grave - Instant, 20s CD: Fires a spectral chain at target, pulling them to your side. Deals a small amount of shadow damage if it hits an enemy target.



Passives[]

Soul Reaper: At 42 Intelligence, Grasp of the Grave will be reset upon landing a killing blow.


Life Steal: At 24 Will, you restore a small amount of life for every Soul Essence orb absorbed.



Grim Harvest: At 45 Strength, Grasp of the Grave generates a small amount of Soul Energy if it hits an enemy target.



Endless Torment: At 33 Dexterity, While Soul Shroud is activated, each absorbed soul energy orb will extend the duration of Soul Shroud.



Soul Cage: At 39 Stamina, When activating Soul Shroud, gain a shield that lasts a few seconds.


Weapons & Armor[]

Death Knights are capable of using one-handed swords, two-handed swords, shields, and crossbows.

Death Knights use plate armor.
