Arena

A picture of the Arena gamemode

The arena is where players can go to test their skills and compete in competition against others in a pure PVP combat based arena. There are no hazards on these maps except the opposing team. Queue up alone and join other solo adventurers, or gather a team and prepare for combat! The Arena is open to all, and can be played from level 1. When you enter the Arena, your items and equipment come with you - but don't worry, if you drop anything, it will be back in your inventory after the match concludes. Teams are given 2 minutes in their spawn room to assemble a set of blue gear from provided chests with random rolls, so be sure to plan accordingly and do your best to gain the passives you want before heading into battle.

Teams start on opposing sides of one of two arenas: Sanctum Remnants, or Hall of the Departed. Once preparation time has concluded, the magical barrier keeping players inside their spawn zone will dissipate, and players can enter the arena to engage in combat. Should a player die, they will respawn in 10 seconds, after which they will have 5 seconds of invulnerability. This invulnerability will persist even when attacking, so beware you don't overstep into enemy territory!

Players will fight to maintain control over the center of the map, where you will find Health Shrines that occasionally regenerate, and spawn points for utility flasks that respawn - both teams are alerted when they restock. Control of these vital objectives is key to dominating your opponent, so careful communication and positioning are crucial components to winning. Whichever team has the highest number of kills when the timer concludes is the winner, with a sudden death taking place should there be a tie. Should you claim Victory, your win will be recorded to the in-game leaderboards, where you can also see player kill scores.
